In order to improve services for both exhibitors and visitors, Zaragoza Exhibition Centre has signed an agreement with Renfe, the Spanish rail authority, to organise an AVE SMOPYC service from Madrid and Barcelona during SMOPYC 2011. These trains will be reserved for those attending the event.

The trains concerned will be the 7.30 a.m. train from Madrid and the 8 a.m. train from Barcelona. This will enable visitors to arrive at Zaragoza Exhibition Centre before it opens. Return journeys are scheduled for 8:32 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. respectively.

The main advantage of this initiative is major discounts, close to 40% off the standard fare. There will also be customised care for travellers in the form of on-board attendants, and easy access to information.

Travellers will also be able to use shuttle buses from Zaragoza’s station to the Exhibition Centre. Reservations must be made 15 days before travelling. They will be managed by Zaragoza Exhibition Centre’s official travel office.
